Extended Range Wreck Diving

The SSI Extended Range Wreck Diving programme provides all you need to plan and conduct wreck penetration dives within the daylight zone to depths shallower than 40 metres. Learn to use specialised wreck diving equipment, gas management concepts, and buddy team skills to safely conduct wreck penetration dives. As an Extended Range Wreck Diver, you will be able to go further into shipwrecks than ever before, opening up a whole new world of exciting exploration. Facts and Training Standards

Price - £350

Prerequisites:

Minimum Age - 18

Certification Prerequisties -Open Water Diver (or equivalent) and either Extended Range Foundations (twinset) or Extended Range

Minimum Logged Dives - 24

Academic Sessions - 1 day

Pool/Confined Water Sessions - 1 day

Open Water Dives - 2 days

Maximum Training Depth - 40m

Suggested Duration - 12 hours

For XR CCR Wreck Diving (in addition to the above, 20 dives and at least 30 logged hours on the specific unit)

What's included - All learning materials, instructor time and instructor breathing gases.

Extra costs - Open Water Site entry and consumables (e.g. Gas and Sofnolime - 15% discount on current gas prices).

Rental kit is available for the course but for maximum benefit, we recommend configuring your own equipment.
