Diver Stress & Rescue
The SSI Diver Stress and Rescue specialty programme teaches you the skills you need to protect yourself and other divers.
You will learn how to identify stress, how to prevent accidents and be taught practical techniques to conduct rescues and provide emergency care. With a combination of pool and open water practice sessions, you will become well prepared and confident at handling emergency and rescue situations.
Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty certification.

Prerequisites:
Minimum Age - 12
Certification Prerequisites - Referral Diver, be physically capable of completing the required skills, proof of current O2 Provider, First Aid and CPR training (within 2 years)
Academic Sessions - Online learning
Pool/Confined Water Sessions - 1
Open Water Dives - 3
Maximum Depth - 18m (Recusing an Unconscious Diver - 9m)
Suggested Duration - 10 to 15 hours

Extra costs - Open Water site entry.
