Sports Diver

If you want to do more with your diving, the Sports Diver qualification gives you the freedom to explore. Being a Sports Diver allows most people to do all the diving they want in the UK and abroad.

Facts and Training Standards

Price - £500 (Upgrade from Advanced Ocean Diver £300)

Prerequisites:

Minimum Age - 12 (14+ to complete depth progression to 40m)

Certification Prerequisites - Ocean Diver (or equivalent), completed 5 dives since Ocean Diver (excluding training) totalling 150 minutes (min)

Academic Sessions - 2 days

Pool/Confined Water Sessions - 1

Open Water Dives - 6 (Upgrade = 3)

Maximum Depth - 40m

What's included - Learning material, all equipment hire, instructor time and breathing gases.

Extra costs - Open Water site entry
