Technical Wreck Diving

The SSI Technical Wreck Diving course provides all you need to conduct complex wreck penetration dives. Using a sidemount, twinset, or rebreather configuration you will increase your technical dive skills and learn high-level buoyancy control, finning techniques, line laying, the use of lights, lost line, lost light, and lost diver procedures. Earn this challenging and rewarding wreck diver certification and push yourself to the limits while increasing your technical dive skills.

Facts and Training Standards

Price - £500

Prerequisites:

Minimum Age - 18

Certification Prerequisties - Advanced Open Water Diver, Diver Stress & Rescue, Extended Range, XR Wreck or Cavern (or equivalent)

Minimum Logged Dives - 75

Academic Sessions - 1 day

Pool/Confined Water Sessions - 1 day

Open Water Dives - 2 days

Maximum Training Depth - 60m

Suggested Duration - 20 hours

For Technical CCR Wreck Diving (in addition to the above, CCR Extended Range and at least 100 logged hours on the specific unit)

What's included - All learning materials, instructor time and instructor breathing gases.

Extra costs - Open Water site entry and consumables (e.g. Gas and Sofnolime - 15% discount on current gas prices).

Rental kit is available for the course but for maximum benefit, we recommend configuring your own equipment.
