BSAAC CCR MOD 1 Top-Up
The MOD 1 AP Mixed Gas Top-up course qualifies a diver with an existing AP Vision air diluent qualification to use trimix. As well as extending the maximum depth of the qualification from 40 to 45 metres, use of trimix will also reduce gas density and narcosis giving a significantly enhanced experience. You will get additional training on the benefits of trimix, how to plan trimix CCR dives and complete two open water dives with mandatory decompression.
To enrol on the MOD 1 AP Mixed Gas Top-up Course you must have successfully completed a BSAC AP Vision CCR course, or equivalent, using air as the diluent.
On successful completion of the course, you will be awarded the MOD 1 AP Vision CCR Diver (45m) qualification allowing you to dive with 20/35 trimix as the diluent.
